I used to believe healing meant improvement - that I had to become someone new before I could feel worthy.
But the truth is, you don’t need to be fixed. You just need to be witnessed.
Most of us grow up in spaces where our feelings are “too much,” our needs “inconvenient,” and our softness
mistaken for weakness.
So we learn to perform strength - smiling through ache, shrinking our sensitivity, apologizing for emotion.
But what if your brokenness was never the problem?
What if it was the world’s inability to hold it gently?
Real healing begins when someone - even if that someone is you - looks at your story and says,
“You make sense.”
You don’t need another self-help book. You need presence.
Someone to hold space without trying to fix, explain, or rescue.
